Emel Kurhan

Emel Kurhan (1977) studied art history in Paris Studio Bercot and Ecole du Louvre. Simultaneous to her education, she worked on textile painting and hand-crafted imprinting. Yazbukey, the brand she established with her sister was twice granted with ANDAM award given by the French Minister of Culture. Her first one-person exhibition was opened in 2011 in Istanbul and was followed her second one-person exhibition at Galerie Nivet-Carzon, Paris. Then came Fantastic (2013), Maybe Tomorrow (2014) and Four Seasons of Solitude (2015) in different venues in Istanbul.
